This coaching is ideal for individuals – primarily individuals in midlife – who are navigating a significant life transition or craving more fulfillment in this stage of life. If you’re an empty nester adjusting to a quieter home, someone reentering the workforce after years away, a professional considering a career pivot, or anyone seeking to rediscover your purpose and identity, this coaching is for you. Many of my clients are high-achieving individuals in their 40s, 50s, or 60s who have spent years focused on career and family. Despite their outward success, they find themselves asking “What’s next for me?” and feeling a bit stuck or restless. I provide the guidance, tools, and supportive space for anyone in this boat who is ready to invest in themselves and create a fulfilling next chapter.

MEA Transition Coaching refers to the Modern Elder Academy’s approach to navigating life changes. It’s a science-backed coaching framework developed by Chip Conley and his team at Modern Elder Academy (the world’s first “midlife wisdom school”). This methodology provides a sort of roadmap for personal growth during transitions, addressing both the practical planning and the emotional journey that change brings. In practice, MEA Transition Coaching involves building your “Transitional Intelligence (TQ)” – in other words, your ability to adapt, find meaning, and grow when life shifts. As a coach trained in this framework, I’ll guide you through exercises to assess what type of transition you’re in and what stage you’re at (for example, are you in an ending, a messy middle, or a new beginning). We’ll use proven tools and reflective practices to help you gain insight, resiliency, and clarity of purpose. In simple terms, MEA’s transition coaching gives us a structured yet flexible game-plan to turn challenges like career changes, retirement, empty nesting, or other midlife shifts into opportunities for reinvention and renewal. It’s about using wisdom practices grounded in science to help you navigate what’s next with confidence and clarity.

We live in a time where many people feel isolated – it’s often called a “loneliness epidemic.” Midlife transitions, in particular, can be lonely because your familiar routines and roles are changing, and it might feel like no one else understands what you’re going through. I address this by placing a big emphasis on community and connection in my coaching practice. That’s where carefully curated gatherings come in. These are group-focused experiences – from the multi-week group coaching program to our in-person weekend immersions – that bring clients together to share, learn, and grow as a community. By joining these gatherings, you get to meet and bond with others who are in the same boat, facing similar questions and challenges. The simple act of gathering with peers who “get it” can profoundly reduce feelings of loneliness. In our group sessions and experiences, you’ll share stories and laughs, trade perspectives, and cheer each other on. You’ll build real friendships and a support network that lasts beyond the program itself. Humans are social creatures; when we come together in a safe, supportive space, we not only combat isolation – we also amplify each other’s growth. Many clients say that the connections they make in our gatherings are one of the most comforting and inspiring parts of their midlife journey. By fostering these communities, my goal is to ensure you never feel alone on your path and to help replace loneliness with belonging.
